Rob Burr provided the following details:
"At the time she was a factory worker resident at Port Elphinstone. James was aged 25, a farm servant resident at Chapel of Garioch and the son of Alexander Hutcheon and Jane Hutcheon (ms Campbell). Witnesses were Alexander Mutch and George Duguid. James and Ann had 7 known children."

His father was Alexander Hutcheon and his mother was Jane Campbell.

  2. Jane Hutcheon born 1878 at Essie in the parish of Forfar, Angus.
  3. Adam Hutcheon born 1879 at Essie in the parish of Forfar, Angus.
  4. Christina Hutcheon born 1882 in the parish of Aberdeen - died 15 August 1933 in the parish of Kirkcaldy, Fife. Married Peter McPherson Simpson on 2 June 1911 in Burntisland, Fife
  5. Maggie Hutcheon born 1885 in the parish of Dunnottar, Kincardine.
  6. Alexander Hutcheon born 23 July 1887 in the parish of New Macher. He married Hannah Brown 31 December 1924 in Dundee and he married Mary McCartney 22 April 1932 in Dundee. See Yolanda Bruce's note for full details of his children
