I have found Alexander's death registration on Scotland's People which confirms his parents as W2 and gives his occupation as Ship Carpenter. The informant was his granddaughter Mary Law, 3 Affleck Street, Aberdeen.

There is reference to two other spouses in addition to Helen Marr but the names are unknown and left blank on the registration.
