Webmaster's notes:

This family line is listed a C3 in the 1929 Mutch Genealogy. William's parents are given as James + Elspet Mitchel.
Further details have been taken from the GenCircles listings posted by James M Hay. NB: Some of this data doesn't seem to fit correctly and I would appreciate any confirmation or corrections for this familiy line.
I have received some details of the family tree of an uncle my father was raised by (the relationship comes from the mother's side - two Montgomery sisters married two separate Mutch lines). This links back to this family line through son William.
I have a copy of son Thomas' death registration which led me to his marriage and details of his son Andrew's birth in IGI.
Heather Smith has sent a transcript of son William's death registration:

Patricia Mutch, daughter of Thomas A Mutch (Mutches in Space), contacted the site with details of her fathers ancestory. He was descended from a son of Thomas + Mary Ann Snagster:

"Andrew Mutch (my great-grandfather) was married to Petrus (might be Petrice) Dow and arrived with his family in 1912 in Bryn Mawr, PA. Andrew and Petrice had 5 children, Thomas, Mary, Gordon, Petrice, and Jesse Ada. All 5 children except Ada married. Ada was a nurse in WW II and had a long career as a nurse after. She died on Jan 27, 2012, at age 106, just shy of her 107th birthday.

My grandfather was Thomas. Thomas married Mildred MacIntosh and they had 3 children, Elizabeth, Thomas Andrew (my father), and Patricia. Patricia died in childhood. Elizabeth married Richard Thomas and they had 2 children, Anne and Richard MacIntosh (Mac). My father (the one on the site under Mutches in Space) married Madeline Maurer and they had 3 children: Patricia (myself), Wendelin, and Margaret
